Data from all participating organizations is merged to create "benchmarks" for each quality measure, against which individual organizations can compare their results. The comparative data set reflects the most recent two years of results. Each year, we also stratify the benchmark results based on patient and facility characteristics.

Additionally, expected outcomes may vary across levels of care and symptom acuity. Therefore, when appropriate, we analyze data and compare performance by level of care.
